The Student Journal of Professional Practice and Academic Research

The Student Journal of Professional Practice and Academic Research is a peer reviewed open access journal, devoted to professional education. All submissions are made by students in higher education who engage with professional education in any discipline.

This journal aims to unite students and staff, by helping students to engage in the publishing process with support and guidance form experienced members of academia. We want to create a culture of collegiality and scholarship between staff, students and alumni. This will be achieved by the feedback students’ gain on their submitted work and by students working as reviewers with those on the editorial board, to gain further experience of the publishing process.

We are looking for articles on professional education across all disciplines, for example nursing, law and business. The journal recognises the importance of reflection in professional education and practice and we welcome thought provoking pieces, with question posing dialogues building conversations between different professions and practices. However, we welcome a range of publications, including research papers and dissertations.
